2 Chainz stopped by Engine Room Audio yesterday to work on some new music in our Mezzanine Suite. He brought his friend, LeBron James, along with him to listen to some of the tracks. 2 Chainz’ upcoming album, “Rap Or Go To The League”, is set to release later this year.
KAMAU released a second EP called “TheKAMAU-CASSETTE: uRTH Gold”… Off of uRTH Gold, Mark Christensen mastered “GReY” (featuring Nko Kheli) and was assisted by Derek Rusinak. You can find this on multiple platforms including Spotify and iTunes.
KAMAU is a very unique artist who currently lives in Brooklyn, New York. His EP has a compilation of past and present that brings together a lot of different sounds. These sounds are a great representation of the culture he possesses and the values he has.
Adam of No Jumper recently came into the studio to be featured on an episode of “The Combat Jack Show”. Lena The Plug (Adam’s wife) is also featured on this episode. Adam22 (Adam Grandmaison) interviews new up-and-coming rappers on his podcast, “No Jumper”. “No Jumper” has featured many artists. Some of the recents including Wyclef Jean, Thouxanbanfauni, and The Action Bronson. ‘The Combat Jack Show” is a podcast made by and featuring Reggie Osse, also known as Combat Jack. Combat is a former hip hop music attorney and executive, as well as the former managing editor of “The Source”. In his podcast he brings in and interviews Hip Hop icons, talking about various things, including culture, news, and music. Kirk Knight and Nyck Caution release the album they’ve been working on for quite some time now… “Nyck at Knight” features the very lyrical duo on each song, and the track, “Audiopium” actually features the whole Pro Era family. This album was mastered by Dan Millice, our mastering engineer.
Kirk and Nyck came together in 2013 while messing around in the studio and came up with the name “Nyck at Knight”. Ever since then, it stuck and their fans have been highly anticipating their album, which is now out. Check it out! You can find it on Spotify, iTunes, etc.
