Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” album was released in January of 1972 on Hi Records. The album went to #1 on the Soul Albums Chart (now known as the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart) where it stayed for 10 weeks straight. This past winter, Fat Possum reached out to our mastering engineer, Dan Millice, to have this piece, as well as ‘I’m Still In Love With You”, remastered for iTunes. These are classics, and Dan says, “My goal was to enhance the album as well as protect the integrity of the original masters. Hearing Al Green through the studio monitors was really a career highlight for me.”
